Hearts & Hammers day was here Saturday, May 3. The folks came to my home and did a fantastic job as they always do! They were just going to fix and stain my porch but went WAY beyond that. They also fixed my garden gate and a part where a tree had gone through, took brush and trash away, mowed the lawn and did some planting and last but not least put a new battery in my smoke detector!

It was so good to see them out there again. The same wonderful, hard working, friendly group I remember. Guys I can’t thank you enough! This is the best idea ever and we on Whidbey are so lucky to have you! You rock!!!
