Patricia J. Almberg (Patra Berg), 62, a former Coupeville resident, passed away July 19, 2006 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Patra was a loving mother, extraordinary artist, and devoted teacher with an exceptionally strong spirit.

She is survived by her daughter Kristin (Almberg) Barron and her husband S. Michael; son Nelson Almberg; and granddaughter Riley Almberg. She is also survived by her brother Bill Bergman and sister Char Cross.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center in Scottsdale, 480-882-4517. A private service was held July 24 in Scottsdale. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale.
