Jim Barker, age 45, passed away on March 9, 2011, at Whidbey General Hospital. He was born on Halloween, 1965, to Frank and Jean (Anderson) Barker at NAS Lemoore, Calif. Jim was the youngest of five children. As a young man Jim was a Golden Gloves Boxing Champion in the State of Montana. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

Jim is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Leslie Contois, his mother, Jean, daughter, Laura Ann Elizabeth Gerber, grandchildren Tadan and Nevaeh of Pocatello, Idaho, sisters Ann Leonard and Lila Barker, brothers Charles Barker and Michael Barker, and many nephews and nieces.
