Denny Denham died at Whidbey General Hospital on Oct. 15, 2006, after an extended illness. He was born March 4, 1941, in Albuquerque, N.M. to Ernest and Ava Denham.

Denny joined the US Navy in 1964 and retired in 1984 as an oceanographic officer and meteorologist. He held a Master’s degree in these fields.

Denny married Barbara Baxley in January of 1972 and they ultimately settled on Whidbey Island.

Denny is survived by his wife Barbara at the family home. At his request there will be no formal services. The family suggests donations to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers. Arrangements were entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel.
