To all people complaining of the aircraft “noise” near Coupeville: I would imagine that most people who live near the outlying field were advised that they were purchasing either property or a home that was located in a noise area from aircraft flying over the area.
By complaining after the fact is akin to closing the barn door after the horse is out.
The one solution to all is to move from Whidbey Island.
The main reason that the naval base is located here is because it has better weather to train than the pilot school in Florida.
These brave men and women are willing to give their lives so that the complainers can do so.
The people complaining about the aircraft noise should be ashamed of themselves.
At least our military is filled with patriotic Americans that sacrifice so much to ensure that the whining people of Coupeville can do so. I find it strange that no one is complaining about the noise from the helicopters that come and go from Whidbey General hospital.
They forget that “it is the sound of freedom” that they complain about.
One could ask each individual, “What have you done for your country?”
