Hoops for scholarship
The Second Annual Tom Roehl Round-Ball Classic is scheduled for 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Coupeville High School gym.
The suggested donation for participants is $10 and all proceeds go to the Tom Roehl Memorial Scholarship fund.
Event organizers request that players bring a light and a dark-colored shirt or jersey. Also, if more than 20 players are signed up, they will be divided into four teams and play a round-robin style tournament.
Each game will last 20 minutes with a running clock.
All alumni are invited to participate and help a worthy cause. Call 206-774-6503.

NWTA winter training camps
This is the time of year when people think it is a time to relax, stay warm and stay inside.
You are wrong.
The staff at NorthWest Training Academy is proud to announce they are staying inside as well, but they are going to stay warm in a different way and kids should come join the fun.
NWTA is offering training camps this winter for all athletes, including First Kicks for kids ages 3 and 4 a Speed Camp and a soon to be added Futsal. For more information, visit www.northwesttrainingacademy.com.
Also, if there is enough interest, NWTA is thinking about having Adult Speed and Agility session.
