Patricia Briscoe, daughter of Miles and Gertrude Dunn, was born on Sept. 18, 1927 in Burlington, Iowa, the oldest of three children. She graduated from Burlington High School and attended Burlington Junior College. She lived in California, New Jersey and North Carolina before moving to Whidbey Island in 1996, to be closer to her family.

Pat died Thursday, May 24, 2007 from complications due to an accident.

Patricia loved her family, her animals and her card games. She was a wonderful sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Briscoe and her brother Miles Edward. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Rolf Seitle and her life-long friend Robin Morsch. She leaves behind godson Stephen Morsch and wife Nancy, her stepchildren Charmaine, Donald and Patty, step-grandson Harold, several cousins, nieces and nephews, dear friends and many acquaintances.

Pat was kind, loving, generous and outgoing. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A gathering for friends to remember her will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 16 at her sister’s home at 410 Edgecliff Drive in Langley.
