James V. Wright, 59, of Riverview, Fla., passed away May 23, 2012. He graduated from Oak Harbor High School and earned a Bachelor of Administration Degree from Tampa College. He retired from Verizon. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin D. Wright.

Survivors include his mother, Ruth Wright and step-father, Ernie Phelps; his aunt, Alphine Turnbaugh; four uncles, Bill and Katie Wright, Don and Pat Wright, Dick and Mary Jo Wright and Olen Wright; nine cousins, Tom Turnbaugh, M.D. and his wife Anne, Becky and Lloyd Fisher, Regina Starcher, Dorina Gardner, Patricia Ducette and Donald L. Turnbaugh II, Mark and Jeanette Turnbaugh, Brice and Fran Turnbaugh and Gary and Vicki Turnbaugh.

He was dearly loved by his family and friends and a wonderful and thoughtful son. Services will be held at the Southern Baptist Church of Oak Harbor at

1 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012.
