Inez M. Morach (76) of Oak Harbor passed away in her home on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016.
Born in Concrete, Wash., to Eric and Edith Benson on May 17, she graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1957 before marrying William B. Morach and settling down in Oak Harbor in 1972.
An avid gardener, Inez was a member of the Oak Harbor Garden Club and loved every minute of the 44 years she spent with them. She was also a member of the District Garden Club and The Dirty Dozen.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband William B. Morach; her mother and father Edith and Eric Benson; her sister Helen Clemons; and her brother-in-law Jim Clemons. Inez leaves behind her children, Stephen A. Morach of Mount Vernon; and William E. Morach of Eugene, Ore.; and her grandchildren William T. Morach and Timothy E. Morach, both of Eugene, Ore.
The family would like to especially thank the Oak Harbor Garden Club for being such a special part of Inez’ life. The memorial service for Inez will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Burley Funeral Chapel of Oak Harbor.
