August 25, 1937 – July 27, 2012

Frances went by Jan for her entire life. Jan’s parents were Paul and Pauline Via. She was born in West Virginia on August 25, 1937. In 1952 their family moved to southern California where she had met Mike many years later. Soon after meeting each other they were married on July, 24 1965.  After several moves they ended up in Oak Harbor, with their sons Steve and Tim, where they had lived since 1973.

For most of her life she worked in the banking profession, retiring from First Interstate Bank in 1992. Her favorite vacation places included Hawaii and San Francisco.  Overall her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family. Her love, smile and the joy that she brought to everyone will be missed. She passed on from this life on July 27, 2012 into eternity with her Lord. She will always live in our hearts.

Great grandchildren (9) Vanessa, Reiley, Bailey, Blake, Cameo, Leighlah, Trey, Aidan, Sidney
