The North Whidbey Little League wishes to thank the News-Times for the support it has given us this year. The article last Saturday was great.
There are two clarification to offer: North Whidbey Little League offers more playing opportunities than the article indicated. We have playing opportunities in baseball and softball for any player 18 and under. The Junior program is generally for the 13- to 14-year-olds, the Senior program is generally for those ages 15 to 16, and the Big League program is for those 17 to 18. All we need is the players.
Secondly, we do have girls playing baseball as well. So it would be the boys and girls of summer.
Registrations are still being accepted for all levels. Pick up applications at Dairy Queen, Burger King, McDonald’s, and Big 5 or download from our website at http://eteamz.active.com/nwlloh.
Thank you again for your support.
