An appreciation party for mayoral candidate Paul Brewer will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, starting at 5 p.m. at the Oak Harbor Elks Lodge. Brewer lost Tuesday’s election to Jim Slowik but that won’t stop the party. His wife Florence invites the public to the free affair that will feature lumpia/pancit to eat “with all the goodies,” plus dance music by the Pickled Herring Band and other entertainment.
