I may not be caught up on all the latest concerning the funds obtained when the city property was logged, but I was wondering if there might be some consideration to using some or all of those funds to repair the streets of Oak Harbor.

There are many places that have heavy pedestrian use that have no sidewalks or shoulders and are unsafe.

The state of disrepair the Oak Harbor streets are in, if corrected, would go a long way to making our city more beautiful. Personally, I think we have enough parks. Beautifully kept streets are safer and add more appeal than another park with little or no use.
