Use perspective to think about Navy pilots’ lives | Letter

Let’s put the Wednesday Whidbey News-Times letters by Dr. Swanson and Linda Sutton in perspective.

Editor,

Let’s put the Wednesday Whidbey News-Times letters by Dr. Swanson and Linda Sutton in perspective.

“Alleged” hearing loss by the folks who “voluntarily” live near the OLF vs.  Navy pilots who fly in a combat theater that face death and/or serious bodily injury.

“Alleged” migratory bird compass redirection vs. Navy pilots who fly in a combat theater that face death and/or serious bodily injury.

Kind of brings things in perspective, unless you believe that possible hearing loss by folks who voluntarily live in the flight path or migratory bird compasses is far more important than the lives of our Navy pilots and the folks they protect.
