I would like to commend the citizens and organizations of Coupeville for the outstanding Memorial Day parade on Saturday.

For the organizations and individuals who worked hard to put together the seamless flow of events, and for the folks who lined the parade route and showed their enthusiasm and support, thank you.

The respect and honor shown for those who served and for the memories of those who gave their lives for our freedom was exemplary.

Well done, Coupeville!
