Oak Harbor and Coupeville high schools each had one winter athlete receive all-league, first-team honors this season.

Wildcat senior swimmer Micah Franklin was first-team, all-Wesco North in the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly.

Coupeville senior Scout Smith earned first-team North Sound Conference honors in girls basketball. Senior teammate Hannah Davidson was a second-team selection, and junior Chelsea Prescott was honorable mention. Senior Tia Wurzrainer received the conference’s sportsmanship award.

In boys basketball, Coupeville senior Mason Grove was named to the all-league second team.

The Western Conference did not divide all-league selections by divisions in basketball, selecting all-conference teams from all 15 schools. Oak Harbor’s Mikhaela Cortez and Jasmine Ford each received honorable mention in girls basketball.
