The Edmonds-Woodway soccer team scored two goals in each half on the way to defeating Oak Harbor 4-0 Thursday, Sept. 20, at Wildcat Memorial Stadium.
The shorthanded Wildcats, missing two starters, “played hard,” according to coach Mike Lonborg.
Oak Harbor had only one varsity sub, and the “girls played with a lot of heart,” Lonborg added.
The Wildcats (0-5, 2-5) host Marysville Getchell (1-3-1, 1-4-2) at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22.
