Oak Harbor drops double-dual meet / Swim and dive

Both Marysville schools edged the Oak Harbor High School swim and dive team Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Marysville-Pilchuck High School.

M-P slipped by Oak Harbor 87-83, and Marysville Getchell won 96-83.

The Wildcats picked up three firsts in the double-dual meet. Lawrence Zapanta captured the 200-yard individual medley (2:31.8), while Micah Franklin took the 100 backstroke (1:10.88).

Matt Kolden and Rylan Quiros teamed with Zapanta and Franklin to win the 200 medley relay (2:00.99).

Oak Harbor (1-8) goes to Stanwood (6-4) at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, for the final regular season meet.
