Quintet wins five-person tournament / Golf

Sean Hall, Don Montague, Todd Peterson, Mike Seek and Jeff Strickland worked together to claim the Frontier Five-Person Best Ball Tournament July 28-30 at the Whidbey Golf Club.

The quintet fired a two-day total of 386 to claim a three-stroke victory and the $2,000 first-place prize.

Martin Pool and Mike Talley won the adidas Horse Race on Friday.

“Thank you to Frontier Building Supply and adidas for their donations,” WGC head professional David Phay said. “We had a record payout this year with over $26,000 getting paid out to the field through various games.”
