Robert F. Murray, 76, of Oak Harbor, died Sept. 27, 2008 in Anacortes. He was born Nov. 13, 1931 to Buster and Minnie (Wolfe) Murray in New Albany, Ind. He was married to Billie Merle Bennett. Mrs. Murray preceded him in death. Also preceding Robert in death are his parents and a son, Michael Lewis Murray.

Surviving Robert are his children: Robert Murray II and wife Jane of Kingwood, Texas; Ronald Murray of Oak Harbor; Gary Murray and wife Betty Ann of Revere, Penn.; Valera Gabrielle of New Albany, Ind.; Alex Murray and wife Wendy of Los Lunas, N.M.; and Keith Murray and Luan Morse of Oak Harbor. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

There will not be any services at this time. Mr. Murray was cremated.

Burley Funeral Chapel in Oak Harbor has been entrusted with arrangements.
