Coach Catie Rodeheffer said, “All seven tallied up personal records for themselves and it was no wonder, running under the lights in the near perfect weather on Hayward Field.”

The mile was part of meet hosted by UO at Hayward Field, home of several Olympic trials, and included many world leaders in their events for 2012.

The Running Unlimited Fitness club has the same coaches and athletes formerly of the Whidbey Island Running Club sponsored by the North Whidbey Parks and Rec District. Rodeheffer said, “Now all the dues go back into the club in supporting the endeavors of the kids; all the coaches are volunteers.”
