Wildcats pick up 1 win in tournament | Volleyball

The Oak Harbor High School volleyball team made its annual trek to the SunDome Volleyball Festival in Yakima Friday and Saturday, Sept. 18 and 19, and came home with one win in five matches.
West Valley of Yakima won the 32-team tournament.
The Wildcats dropped all three of their pool contests, losing to Eagle, Idaho, 25-17, 25-11; Chiawana of Pasco 25-13, 25-23; and East Valley of Spokane 25-13, 25-17.
In bracket play against the other fourth-place pool teams, Oak Harbor stopped Hermiston, Ore., 25-15, 25-20, and then lost 25-19, 25-23 to White River, which went on to win the bracket title.
The Wildcats (0-3) face Arlington (1-2) at home at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21.
