Alyssa Reuble was a one-person wrecking crew as she led her Meadowdale High School softball team to a 17-0, five-inning win over host Oak Harbor Tuesday, April 16.

Reuble pitched a no-hitter – nearly throwing a perfect game – slugged four hits, including two doubles, and scored four runs.

Oak Harbor’s only base runners came in the fourth inning when Shawna Steele was hit by a pitch and Lexie Findley reached on an error.

Reuble, who will play at Seattle University, struck out seven and received additional offensive help from Haili Taylor and Tiffany Dewayne who collected three hits each.

The Mavericks finished with 14 hits and scored in every inning, including five in the first and six in the sixth.

Meadowdale (5-0, 9-1) remained in first place in the Wesco South with its fifth straight win.

Oak Harbor (2-3, 3-8) plays Glacier Peak (3-2, 7-5) at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in Snohomish.
