A local Memorial Day weekend tradition, the 49th annual Whidbey Golf Club Men’s Invitational, returns to Oak Harbor at 7 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 24 and 25.
Over 120 men will participate this year, according to WGC pro David Phay, including defending champion Doug Pierce.
In addition to the two-round tournament, the event will include long drive, chipping and “Break the Glass” contests, with the finals at 5 p.m. Saturday.
The leading eight players after the first round will tee off about 1 p.m. Sunday.
