Mayor clears up sewer issue

I want to apologize to Mayor Slowik and thank him for clarification in regards to my letter in the Sept. 4 issue. It seems it is not a sewer line going down Regatta to Fakkema. A water line is going in to service the businesses along Route 20, which have been annexed into the city. Should the septics that were grandfathered in fail, then it will be necessary to provide a sewer line to those business.
