Whidbey Golf Club board names new officers

Whidbey Golf Club’s board of trustees met Nov. 30 and elected new officers and jobs for 2019.

Elected were: John Geragotelis, president; Dave Acton, vice president; Mike Prewitt, treasurer; Steve Richardson, secretary; and Mike Prewitt was elected as the alternate.

The Finance Committee will consist of chairman Mike Prewitt, alternate being chairwoman Pam Glach; Golf Activities Committee will be chaired by Jeff Waller, alternate Steve Richardson; Greens and Grounds Committee will be chaired by Bill Johnson, alternate Dave Acton; House Committee will be chaired by Pam Glach, alternate Bill Johnson; and Membership Committee will be chaired by Steve Richardson, alternate Jeff Waller.

The president also appointed a special committee to create a Capital Expense Plan: chair Dave Acton and members Pam Glach and Jeff Waller. The new committee will begin its work immediately.
