Lucky Jim, manned by a trio of talented Jims, won the Oak Harbor Yacht Club Sailing Fleet’s final event of the season, the Scott Cline Regatta, Oct. 6 and 7.

Lucky Jim, skippered by Jim McAlpine and crewed by Jim McAlpine Jr. Jim Winship, won two of three short-distance races (1.4 to 2.8 nautical miles) Saturday and then cemented the overall title by capturing the distance event (20 nautical miles) to Baby Island and back Sunday.

Light winds of three to six knots greeted the racers Saturday, then increased to seven to nine knots Sunday.

Overall standings: 1, Lucky Jim (Jim McAlpine); 2, Vertigo (Shannon Buys); 3, Yeah Dogg (Chad Holcomb); 4, Toto (Allan Wilson); 5, Gadzooks (Rex Dupuis); 6, Excitement (Bill Weinsheimer); 7, Pearl Jem (Larry Munns).

Race 1: 1, Lucky Jim; 2, Vertigo; 3, Toto; 4, Excitement; 5, Yeah Dogg; 6, Pearl Jem; 7, Gadzooks.

Race 2: 1, Lucky Jim; 2, Vertigo; 3, Toto; 4, Yeah Dogg; 5, Gadzooks; 6, Pearl Jem; 7, Excitement.
