Red Pride wins Classic

Red Pride captured the Eighth Annual Tom Roehl Roundball Classic Saturday, Dec. 26, at Coupeville High School.

The Classic is a holiday tradition on Central Whidbey to raise funds for a scholarship that honors longtime coach Tom Roehl.

Red Pride won the 10-team tournament by topping the Central Whidbey Ballers 46-31 in the title game.

Members of the winning team are Gavin Koehane, Pete Petrov, Jordan Schisel, Greg White, Scott Stuurmans, Mike Vaughn and Dom Kliblinger.
