Wildcats remain unbeaten in conference play | Girls golf

The Oak Harbor High School girls golf team remained undefeated in head-to-head matches with Wesco 3A North foes by clipping Marysville-Pilchuck 257-284 at the Cedarcrest Golf Course Thursday, April 30.

The Wildcats have one more Wesco North match, facing Stanwood at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, at the Whidbey Golf Club.

In the win over M-P, Marisa Sligh captured medalist honors with a 45 (par 35) over nine holes. Terra Baird posted the day’s second-best score, 48.

Hailey Beecher and Hannah Taylor shot 53, and Tia Miesle carded a 58.

The Wildcats are 5-0 in the Western Conference 3A North Division.
