Oak Harbor cruises to easy win | Girls golf

Showing no rust from a two-week layoff, the Oak Harbor High School girls golf team easily defeated Shorewood and host Everett at the Legion Golf Course Wednesday, April 9.
Oak Harbor shot a 259, Everett 293 and Shorewood 301.
As Oak Harbor dominated the team race, Wildcat Joanna Leete easily won individual honors, carding a three-over 39, nine strokes better than Everett’s Emiley Anderson.
Oak Harbor’s Resego Mooki posted the third-best score, 51, and teammate Bree Roderos was next with a 52.
Hailey Beecher shot 57, Tarra Baird 60 and Mara Powers 74.
Oak Harbor participates in the Burlington-Edison Invitational at 10 a.m. Monday, April 14, at the Skagit Golf and Country Club.
