Proper name for the beach

I appreciated Justin Burnett’s article on my decision to donated tideland lots on West Beach to the public. It was very well researched. I was also flattered by the following editorial thanking me for the donation and suggesting a small sign designating the property “Beatrice Morgan Beach.”

However, such a sign if erected (and that would be totally up to the Whidbey Camano Land Trust) should state “H.L. Morgan Beach,” in honor of my late husband. He was the Navy’s surveyor for many years and knew almost everyone, and the beach should be named in his memory. Thank you.
