Royal wins three events in Track Classic

Oak Harbor’s Adrianna Royal won three events at the Track City International Classic at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon in Eugene last weekend.

The OHHS senior-to-be captured gold in the 800, 1,500 and 2,000 steeplechase. Her time of 7:30 in the steeplechase set a new meet record and was a personal best.

Next week Royal will participate in the National Junior Olympic meet in Sacramento.
