Eastside Prep nips Coupeville again / Tennis

For the second time this season, Eastside Prep edged the Coupeville High School tennis team 3-2, this time Tuesday, Oct. 1, in Kirkland.

The Wolves received wins from Zach Ginnings in second singles (6-3, 6-7[6-8], 7-4) and James Wood and Mason Grove in first doubles (6-2, 6-4).

Drake Borden lost in first singles (6-1, 6-1), while Andrew Aparicio and Thane Peterson fell in second doubles (6-3, 7-5) and Miles Davidson and Logan Martin lost in third doubles (6-3, 6-4).

Coupeville (1-7) plays two home matches this week at 3:30 p.m. First, University Prep (7-1) visits on Thursday and then Bush (0-6) comes to town on Friday.
