Run the bluff in Coupeville
Sponsored by the Coupeville High School boys soccer program, a sprint race from the top of the steps at Ebeys Landing by the parking lot, to the top of the bluff is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, beginning at noon.
The event is open to all spring sport athletes at Coupeville and their fans.
The sprint will be followed by a barbecue at Mickey Clark Field, beginning at approximately 1 p.m.
There is no charge to enter the race and the cost of the barbecue is $5 per person or a donation.
All proceeds will benefit the Coupeville High School boys soccer program.
Hoop tournament April 17 at OHHS
The Oak Harbor High School Basketball Club is sponsoring a 3-on-3 tournament on Saturday, April 17, in the high school gym beginning at 9 a.m.
The cost to participate is $60 per team, and the deadline for entry is Friday, April 3.
Registration forms are available at both 7-Eleven stores in Oak Harbor.

Gallery ladies seek new members
Women golfers wanted of all skill levels are invited to join the fun with the Gallery Ladies Golf Association.
There will be a meeting and coffee at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, in Duffer’s Deli at the Gallery Golf Course in Oak Harbor.
Mike Fields, club pro, will give golf tips and discuss a starter program for beginners. The association starts play on Tuesday, April 7.
