Tom Page

Tom Page, long-time resident of Whidbey Island, died peacefully in his sleep the morning of April 14, 2009. Tom will be remembered by many as the founder of Loganberry Hill Realty, Greenbank, in the 1960s.

Tom was born in Kent Valley in 1913. He grew up at Alki Point, lived most of his life in the greater Seattle area, and retired with his wife Jacqueline to Whidbey island. In retirement Tom and Jacqueline traveled Europe and lived for periods of time in the West of Ireland.

Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife “Jac” of 65 years, and his son, Kent.

Left behind remembering him are his son Mike, daughter-in-law Debbie, granddaughter Darcy, Darcy’s mother Lorinda Kay, and favorite cousin Nancy Nordhoff, adopted sons Jim Page of Seattle and Wim Leurs of Amsterdam. He leaves numerous friends who will remember his wonderful sense of humor, his biting sarcasm and his caring spirit.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Island Home Nursing for their caring support in his home, and the staff of Careage of Whidbey for their warm attention during his last days. At Tom’s request there will be no memorial service. Any remembrances can be sent in Tom’s name to WAIF. Tom had a myriad of dogs throughout his lifetime. Beginning with Rusty and ending with Toby.
