Shirley Ann Page McLeod

Shirley A. McLeod was born to Chesley “Babe” Olen and Janie (Watkins) Page on Sept. 28, 1959 in El Campo, Texas and she entered into rest on Sept. 30, 2007 in Coupeville with her loving family at her side, following an extensive illness. She entered into marriage with Andrew “Andy” McLeod on March 22, 2003 in Coupeville.

She enjoyed reading, the outdoors, collecting angels and her family. Shirley is survived by her family: loving husband and partner Andrew McLeod of Oak Harbor; sons of Christopher Lee Davis of Oak Harbor, Charles D. McDaniel of Colorado City, Texas; daughters Angela McLeod of Lynnwood, Shannon McLeod of Oak Harbor; sister Doris Ferguson and husband Carl of La Porte, Texas; brothers Tommy Ellison and wife Nancy of Fort Worth, Texas, Chelsey “Bo” Olen Page, III and wife Rosalie of Alice, Texas; and nieces Shelli, Amanda, Emily, Holly, Megan and Juliana.

Her parents predeceased her.

A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the clubhouse on Childrens Avenue in Northgate Terrace.

In lieu of flowers, Shirley’s family requests that memorials be made in her name to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the direction of Affordable Burial & Cremation Services, LLC of Mount Vernon. Cards of condolence may be sent to 4547 Alamo Way, Oak Harbor, 98277.
