Ruth (Tesch) Wiley, 81, of Anacortes, died in Poulsbo on June 14, 2008. She was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Oak Harbor to Gustav and Klara (Dahlke) Tesch. In 1965, Ruth married John T. Wiley in Anacortes. He preceded her in death in 1986. Ruth worked for over 40 years at the Land and Title Company in Oak Harbor. She attended North Cascade Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was known for her baby quilts and had sewn over 400.

She is survived by daughter Karen and husband Don Sharman of Silverdale; brother Ernie Tesch of Oak Harbor; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be given in Ruth’s memory to North Cascade Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
