Roseileen Marie Hoffman

Roseileen Marie Hoffman (Sugie), 74, of Oak Harbor, passed away Jan. 3, 2011.

She was born March 13, 1936, in Laredo, Texas to Addis C. and Emily (Hoffman) Hyckembottem. Her family moved to Juneau, Alaska where she graduated from high school in 1954. Roseileen married Gerald (Jerry) Dorsher and they had one daughter together, Jill Dorsher.

After spending over 50 years in Juneau and retiring from the State of Alaska, she moved to Washington with her daughter, Jill. She has lived in Oak Harbor for the last 11 years. Roseileen never left home without her poodle or missed a day at Whidbey Coffee.

Roseileen is survived by her daughter Jill Chaney, grandson Jacob Chaney age 16, son-in-law Demon Chaney, and her 4-year-old poodle, Lacy. Lacy will reside with Jill in California. Wayne Fleek, a first cousin of Juneau, was a very special person to Roseileen. Other relatives include cousins, Bridget McMillan and Amy Hickey of Washington.
