Robert C. DeBoer, age 95, died on Tuesday, Aug. 8, at San Juan Rehab Care Center in Anacortes.

Robert was born in Oak Harbor on Oct. 27, 1921, the son of Carl DeBoer and Carrie (DeVlieg) DeBoer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Alice Kennedy, Janet Rientjes and Josephine Benson; and nephews Jim Rientjes and Kenneth Benson.

Surviving are four nephews Les Rientjes, Gary Rientjes, Dennis Benson and Doug Haywood, as well as one niece, Starr Thomas.
