Richard James Holder, age 91, of Langley passed away on Nov. 13, 2010. He was born to James and Pearl (Meyer) Holder on Dec. 28, 1918, in Taylor, Wash. He attended schools in Issaquah.

In 1944 he joined the US Navy and served in WWII. After the war he returned to Issaquah where he raised his family.

He is survived by his wife, June (Hoye) Holder; his two daughters, Judy (John) Bernritter and Susan Holder; four grandchildren, Richard Guin, Jennifer Poe, Jason Bernritter and Marsha Johnson; and two great grandchildren, Brian and Aubrienna.
