Norma Rasmussen, 87, passed away October 30, 2009. Norma was born Jan. 11, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ira Boyce and Pearl Mitchell. She married Glen Rasmussen on May 4, 1941. They were married for 68 1/2 years.

She is survived by her husband, Glen, and her son, Ray, and his wife, Shirley, of Oak Harbor. She and Glen have lived on Whidbey Island since 1962. Norma was a very generous, selfless mother and wife and enjoyed a very good life with her husband and family.

No funeral services will be held at her request. Burley Funeral Chapel of Oak Harbor has been entrusted with arrangements.
