Maria Reyes Bonillas was born Feb. 6, 1923, in Sonora, Mexico, and died June 6, 2007, in Oak Harbor. Two sons, Manuel and Herbert, preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Elvia Balverde; a brother, Joaquin Bonillas and family; and three granddaughters, Sonja Balverde, Zerlinde Balverde and Marisa Balverde.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 16, at 2 p.m., the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, located at 301 N.E. Rohnaar in Oak Harbor.
