Lova Marie Clarkston (Kirkpatrick) was born Jan. 6, 1939, in Kalispell, Mont., and was raised in Oak Harbor. She moved to Spokane in the early 1970s where she raised her two daughters. She passed away March 14, 2011 in Bellevue, of an extended illness. She is survived by her sister, daughter, granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
