Karen L. (Blythe) Brightful, 49, passed Aug. 21, 2009, at Aldercrest Health & Rehabilitation in Edmonds.

She was a proud member of the Oak Harbor High School Class of 1978. Survivors include her parents, James Jr. and Myrtle; siblings, James III, Antonette, Rozita, Darlene and Quintin; her children, Lamont, Nitha and Angela; seven grandchildren and many other friends and family.
