June Arnold passed away in comfort and peace on November 22, 2009, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was born in Seattle on June 13, 1925. She was married to Evan Davis Arnold for nearly 50 years. They retired from three decades of military service to Whidbey Island in 1970. Evan preceded June in death in 1996.

June is survived by her three loving children: David and wife Doris, Grove City, Ohio; Sheri and husband Rick or Everett; and Terri of Greenbank; her three grandchildren, Adam (Jessica), Christina (Chris) and Nick; and her four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Addison, Elijah and Ava Grace. June is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Gertrude and Hans Loffler, a nephew and two nieces and their families, and several cousins.

The family asks, in lieu of a memorial service, that donations be made to Good Cheer in Langley in memory of the many years June volunteered her love, time and talent to Senior Services, or to Meerkerk Gardens.
