Harold Taylor

Born Nov. 5, 1914, in Oakland Beach, Rhode Island, Harold Taylor was the third of four boys. He was a tool and die maker, designing instrument panels for WW II aircraft and room-sized machinery. He passed away June 12, 2010.

Harold had many interests: sports – particularly golf — gardening and reading.

Harold is survived by his wife of 73 years, Dagmar; their daughter, Carol (Richard) Haines and son Douglas Taylor; his granddaughters, Cynthia Haines (Dean) Heintzen and Laura Haines (Kenneth) Martin; and by his great- grandchildren, Heather Heintzen, Samantha Martin and Tyler Martin.

Harold loved his family, his Lord Jesus Christ and is peacefully now at home in heaven.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 10, at 1 p.m. at Family Bible Church, Oak Harbor. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gideon Society (www.gideons.org).
