They assisted in organizing and participating in gleaning efforts resulting in many thousands of pounds of apples and potatoes for the needs of food bank programs in the area. In addition, Betty enjoyed gardening, fishing and crabbing. “Gammy” was a devoted mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her entire family.
