Donna Beth Hurlburt

Donna Beth Hurlburt, 71, of Grants Pass, Ore., died July 17, 2011, in Medford, Ore.

Donna was born Nov. 14, 1939, in Solon, Ohio, to Milburn and Zelda Hirschman. On a blind date she met Larry Hurlburt and on March 24, 1959, in Ontario, Calif., they married. She attended Chaffe Junior College in Pomona, Calif. As Larry served in the United States Navy, the family lived in many places throughout the United States. In 1964, they moved to Coupeville where they spent the next 25 years. In 1994 they moved to Grants Pass and spent winters in Palm Springs, Calif.

Donna was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Red Hatters in California.

Her hobbies included arts and crafts and collecting antiques.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Hurlburt of Grants Pass; two sons, Paul Hurlburt of Grants Pass and Troy Hurlburt of Coupeville; a daughter, Kristan Hurlburt of Kirkland; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul Hirschman.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Coupeville.
