Barbara R. Hooper, 80, of Coupeville, widow of George Hooper, died April 20, 2008 in Coupeville. She was born Feb. 15, 1928. in Toronto, Canada, to Charles and Rosemond (Brainard) Stearns.

Barbara is survived by children Warren Phifer, J. Phifer, Lenny Phifer, Dennis Phifer, Ramona Patricelli and Greg Fine.

Barbara was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date with burial in Acacia Memorial Park in Seattle.
