Allyn A. Lem Mon, 60, passed away June 26,2009, at home in Oak Harbor. He was born Feb. 25, 1949 in Ross, Calif., to Gary and Barbara Lem Mon.

Allyn was raised in Norwalk, Calif., where he graduated from Excelsior High School in 1967. Then he married his best friend Linda in July 1969. They have spent the last 40 years together and have four wonderful children in their lives.

Allyn always enjoyed when all the family were able to get together and spend time with each other. He also loved to spend his days mowing the lawns, doing all his side projects and sitting on the deck with his cup of coffee enjoying his day with his best friend Jack (the dog).

He always had great ideas up his sleeve, from his little drawings that he did or his ideas to better the family.

Allyn is survived and loved by his parents, Gary and Barbara Lem Mon; his wife, Linda Lem Mon; three sons, Jason, Jeremy and Jerett Lem Mon; daughter, Janine Blas; sister, Lynda Favilla; brother, David Lem Mon; two grandchildren, Emma and Andrew Blas; and many other friends and family.

He was a great and loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed not only by his family and friends, but also everyone who crossed paths with him. His sense of humor will never be forgotten.
